I have always loved photography, before I even considered it to be a profession. The first time I held a DSLR... it was like butterflies on a first date (ha ha), I was in love with my camera. I love to photograph all aspects of life from maternity to family portraits and everything in between. But I realized very quickly that I enjoy photographing people. I started out photographing landscapes and it just wasn't enough. I begged family and friends to let me take their photos and then realized, I was born to be a portrait photographer!! I would definitely consider myself a people person, I joined an ambulance corps and fire department at the age of 16 and absolutely loved serving my community. At the age of 17 I worked at a local hospital in the emergency room. While I worked 11 plus years as an emergency room secretary, I was starting up my photography business not knowing that it could potentially be my actual job. I'm still in shock all these years later, that this is what I get to do as a full-time job. I am SOOOOO lucky!!
