Dawn and Phil live in New York but came to Westerly, RI to get married!

Phil said he'd been coming to Westerly for YEARS and knew it would be the most beautiful place to marry the love of his life!

I don't know if any of you are as frustrated with our "New England Weather" lately... we were planning for the worst on July 9th.  We were supposed to be expecting major thunderstorms that day.  I had chatted with Dawn a few times before the day of her wedding and suggested Westerly Library for a backup for the Family Formals which were very important to them.  Their JP suggested getting married under the gazebo in Wilcox Park.  We had a plan, it would all work out... AND THAN!!!  A half hour before the wedding... BLUE SKIES!!!  It was windy, but there were blue skies and fluffy white clouds.  It turned out to be everything Phil and Dawn wanted it to be.

Dawn and Phil wanted to start with family formals, we were so excited that we were able to move the formals out into beautiful Wilcox Park under the massive weeping willow.  After family got every shot they wanted and all the different family combinations, Dawn, Phil and I did some of just the two of them in a few different spots before we all headed to the beach for the ceremony!

We are arrived to Misquamicutt state beach, Phil and Dawn were not the only ones excited!  Their grandkids and kids kicked off their shoes and headed straight for the sand!  It was warm, the sun was out and everyone was thrilled.  The ceremony was small and intimate.  There family stood close around them.  Their were happy tears, mostly from Dawn and tons of smiles.
