Quality over Quantity.
You know the saying, quality over quantity.
It's true that you may be able to print MORE photos at department stores or online discount photo labs for the same price as printing with a professional lab but what is more important? I’m sure you’re tempted to spend $0.12 on a print from that store kiosk, what a great deal right? WRONG!!! There are great pharmacy's, grocery stores are excellent for so many things like paper towels and products at great prices, but these places know NOTHING about printing professional photos.
A professional printing lab gives you the best possible print. Your photographer is trained to see variations in color and contrast. We know exactly how your image should look. We know that what we see on the computer screen will go to print at our lab exactly the way it should. Professional photo labs employ trained and experienced technicians. We are able to offer a variety of products using quality and consistent materials. Our lab pays attention to every detail going in to printing your images. The quality of the chemicals used are monitored, color and density of the photos are analyzed, regular maintenance and calibration is done on their printers. Everything is regularly checked and rechecked. The printers themselves are top quality and actually imbeds the colors of your photograph into the paper.
Consumer level labs are hiring regular employees to work their lab. An employee in the photo department may be printing photos today and stocking shelves tomorrow. Photos, and prints, are not necessarily their job. The paper and ink used is of lesser quality to keep their costs down. There is sometimes a huge loss of detail or a complete color change from what it should be. Most of these places use an inkjet photo to print which means the ink sprays on to the paper, unlike quality printing which imbeds the colors into quality photo paper used at professional labs.
Because of the additional care our lab provides we are able to give you high quality photos that have the crispness and clarity they should, every time!
Consumer level labs may provide prints with a lower price tag but you’re going to get what you pay for.
Cheaper is not always better, most especially in this case.
Going with a budget lab and finding that the cream blanket under your newborn baby printed yellow with a twinge of green is going to lead you to spend additional money printing a higher quality print with us. We have seen this. Don’t pay to have your photos printed twice!
